Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

After packing and re-packing to distribute the 200+ pounds of medical supplies and toys we are bringing, we are off to begin our adventure in Tanzania! We were quite the sight in the MSP airport as we were trying to lug around 9 bags plus each of our personal carry ons and purses.

After watching our bags roll away on the conveyer belt and a few of us getting the complementary TSA patdown (Cari says, "Who knew I'd get to second base on day 1??") , we stopped at "America's Best Restroom of 2016" and then grabbed a bite to eat.

We are currently about to board--commence the pre-med cocktails for Britty and Cari!
